The Unrefined Azerite Geode is one of the rare drops that can be obtained from Azerokk in The MOTHERLODE!! dungeon. The item can drop on both, normal and heroic difficulties, as well as mythic since the recent patches.

It is required in order to craft the Jewelhammer's Focus, which allows the player to remove socketed gems from items without destroying them. Moreover, it allows for special gem geodes to be mined.
