The Unusually Large Mushroom is an item related to the rare monster Humon'gozz, which has to be killed in order to get the achievement Adventurer of Ardenweald, and also drops the mount – Arboreal Gulper.
The majority of the mushrooms come from common mobs and various uncommon monsters. As a result, the easiest approach to farm it is to stick to your normal schedule in the zone. There is no precise location; it is completely random. You will have 20 minutes from the time you obtain the Mushroom to go to the Humon'gozz spawn place.
To get there, head to the north west of the Zone, immediately north of the 'D' in Dreamsong Fenn, once you have the Unusually Large Mushroom. Follow that North West again until you find a tear-shaped pool, which is also on the map.
Clear the area of monsters to give yourself some room to fight the Damp Loam in front of a shallow cave. After then, click on the loam. Humon'gozz will spawn after around 20 seconds of gradual growth.
