About Tome of the Cabal
The Tome of the Cabal is a quest item, provided to the player for the quest present in Burning Crusade expansion – The Binding, given by Strahad Farsan in The Barrens, in a series of Warlock class-quests.
The quest itself is quite simple and its rewards are quite important, since it is going to let the player learn how to summon a felhunter as their pet, as well as provide a Box of Souls, which in TBC is a 16-slot Soul Bag.
All you have to do to complete the quest is to use the summoning circle in the tent with the tome and summon the felhunter to defeat. A good piece of advice though is to remember that the felhunter summoned doesn't count as your pet, so you can get yourself a void walker before the start of the fight to give yourself an advantage.
