This magnificent mount, the Solar Spirehawk, is owned by less than 1% of the players making it one of the rarest mounts dropped by bosses in World of Warcraft. Thus, owning it is undoubtedly a way of showing your superiority to others.
The mount itself drops from Rukhmar in Spires of Arak. This world boss has about 0.18 per cent chance of yielding the mount to a fortunate player in personal loot. Moreover, do note that it is impossible to get the mount in the bonus roll.
It is similar in look and size to the Ashes of Al'ar and Reins of the Dark Phoenix.
As for the boss itself – Rukhmar spawns at 37, 39 in the Spires of Arak and drops Solar Spirehawk. Moreover, she spawns every 15 minutes on the mountain's edge, adjacent to one of Skyreach's platforms. When she's not being pulled, she generally flies across the zone. Otherwise, you may use a range ability from 34, 36 to get her from the ground, but if it's crowded, I'd recommend waiting on the ground underneath where she spawns, since she'll fly straight down before dying. You only get one attempt per character each week.
