The Pitch Black Scourgestone is an item that can be obtained during the pre-launch event of World of Warcraft Shadowlands and the Scourge Invasion.

The quest Pitch Black Scourgestone is given to the players by Veteran Crusader Aliocha Segard. In this quest you are tasked with obtaining 25 Pitch Black Scourgestone, which are dropped by some of the more powerful monsters in Icecrown.

As a reward you will receive 3 Argent Commendations, which can be exchanged for powerful items to aid the players in the upcoming content.

The quest itself is repeatable so you can farm the stones as much as you wish.

Reportedly, the quickest way of obtaining the items is to farm the rare monsters that roam the area of Icecrown, which spawn in 20-minute intervals in the order presented below at these coordinates:
