About Orb of Soran'ruk
The Orb of Soran'ruk is an interesting off-hand, which was thought to be quite a good item for warlocks in Classic, since it provided with bonuses to fire and shadow spells, as well as a cool on-use-effect that put a healing-over-time effect on the player.
To obtain the Orb of Soran'ruk the player must complete a warlock-only quest – The Orb of Soran'ruk, which is given by Doan Karhan in The Barrens.
The quest requires the players to collect 3 Soran'ruk Fragment and 1 Large Soran'ruk Fragment. The three small shards are available in Blackfathom Deeps, while the large one is in the Shadowfang Keep.
To get them, first, once you enter the Blackfathom Deeps, you want to go to the end where you'd normally fight the hydra boss. Here go to the altar and get the fragments from there.
In the Shadowfang Keep, you want to go right from the entrance to fire the prisoner and go to the courtyard. It is going to drop from a haunted survivor or one of the shadow fangs near the ramp.
