The Mardivas's Universally Lauded Tote is one of the interesting, unique items that you can get while exploring Nazjatar.
This item is a reward that you are going to eventually get while doing the Trove Tracker achievement, which requires the player to find all of the Arcane Chests and Glowing Arcane Trunks. This item is found in the latter of the two. Reportedly, in the last one you open that is necessary for the achievement.
The Mardivas's Universally Lauded Tote can only be used in Nazjatar. What it does is give you one of its random effects which include:
- Often a random minor buff
- Poison (it poisons you, because why not?)
- Encrusted Coin
- Barnacled Lockbox
- Skeletal Hand
- Waterlogged Toolbox
- 1-2 Primatic Manapearls
- Fermented Deviate Fish
- Some Gray items worth some gold
- A random green
- War resources
- Random murloc trading items
Due to that randomness and no outstanding rewards, many players think this item to be disappointing and worthless, especially given the amount of effort required to acquire it.
