Blizzard updated the World of Warcraft Classic forum with the Burning Crusade tab. Currently, most topics are/will be blocked and available only for beta testers, but this procedure itself has warmed the Azeroth community. Many people expect the first players to come to the servers soon and, just like with the Classic version, we will systematically learn about the stages of work.

Before Blizzcon 2021 itself, information about the work on the refreshed version of the first expansion for World of Warcraft - Burning Crusader was released to the network. It was brilliant news that players had been asking for a long time - and after the success of the Classic version, Blizzard decided to live up to their expectations.

No release date

All we know right now is that Burning Crusade is due out this year. Many people in the industry speculate that this may be the holiday period, i.e. exactly 2 years after Classic's departure. Yes, it's true it's been a long time since the premiere and most of the content has already been introduced. Let us remind you that the first version of the game was divided into six phases, each of which, depending on the size, lasted 3-4 months.

Controversial decision - character boost

Of course, it was not without negative information - you will be able to buy a character boost up to level 58. This option will have some restrictions.

  • Boost can only be purchased on the Burning Crusade expansion - it will not be an option on Classic
  • It will not be possible to advance new races - Blood Elves and Draenei
  • The option will be available once per account
