The mobile version of Warcraft is being developed
An artist working for Blizzard (Clayton Chod) has confirmed that the company is creating mobile Warcraft. He did not reveal what exactly it is, but assured that the game has been in development for a long time. He himself has been working on the project for about 2 years.
Little is known about the project yet. There are opinions among fans that transferring Battle Pets to mobile devices would be the most interesting solution. Thanks to this, players could use the phone - anywhere with a cellular network - to play this forgotten activity.
World of Warcraft on smartphone?
However, it's worth noting that the artist is talking about the mobile game Warcraft, not World of Warcraft. At BlizzConline, the developers didn't say anything special about it, so it looks like it's too early for such a big announcement. Who knows, maybe this year we'll find out more.
Diablo Immortals Shows Blizzard Recognizing the Potential of the Mobile Market, Generating Over $ 18.5 Billion in 2019. It is also worth remembering about Hearthston, which still generates very good results, but still typical action / RPG games should attract more mobile players.
