Blizzard Entertainment has been hard at work on World of Warcraft's Patch 10.0.7, which went live on March 21. Among the major updates are the introduction of Heritage Armor for Orcs and Humans, a return to the Forbidden Reach, and numerous balancing changes for various classes. This article highlights the confirmed updates included in the patch.

Key changes in Patch 10.0.7 include:

Forbidden Reach: Players will venture back to the Forbidden Reach to uncover Raszageth's origins and secrets. The area will open to a wider public, featuring hidden treasure rooms, new bosses, objectives, and loot.

New Monk Class

New Monk Races: Lightforged Draenei, Worgen, and Goblin races will learn the ways of the Monk. Monk trainers for Lightforged Draenei and Worgen will be in Stormwind, while Goblin trainers will be in Kezan, Bilgewater Cartel, and Orgrimmar.

Heritage Armor

Heritage Armor: Heritage Armor for Orcs and Humans will be introduced, reflecting the distinct characteristics of each race.

Class Balancing: Retribution Paladins, Restoration Shamans, Restoration Druids, Unholy Death Knights, and Evokers will see improvements to utility, healing, and damage output.

Dragonriding Drakes Abilities: Players' Dragonriding drakes will gain two new abilities—Aerial Halt and Airborne Recovery—for better control while recharging Vigor.

Winterpelt Furbolg Faction

Winterpelt Furbolg Faction: A new faction will be introduced on the Dragon Isles, the Winterpelt Furbolg. Players will gradually learn their language and earn their trust through quests in the Azure Span.

Community Feast Changes: Anti-AFK measures will be added to the Community Feast, requiring players to actively participate by purchasing ingredients and contributing to the feast.

Baine Bloodhoof Quest: Baine Bloodhoof will embark on a new quest in the Ohn'ahran Plains, where players can join him in searching for an old friend.

With these updates, Patch 10.0.7 promises to deliver an exciting and immersive experience for World of Warcraft players. The patch is followed by Patch 10.1, Embers of Neltharion, which has already begun its first testing cycle on the PTR.
