Blizzard summed up the year 2021 and announced a new mobile game

This year is very important to Blizzard, as they plan to announce some news from the Warcraft, Diablo and Overwatch universes. The corporation issued a report for the fourth quarter of 2021, which is extremely important. Instead of using BlizzCon or another event for a big announcement, the company announced through him that it is creating mobile Warcraft. This title is expected to appear later this year. Unfortunately, it is not known whether it will be a full-fledged premiere or access for testers.

It is worth adding that there is currently no information related to this title. Unlikely it could be World of Warcraft mobile. It is true that a few have already debuted on phones and tablets mmorpg but this is probably not the direction Blizzard wants to go. This is not a big surprise, as previous information indicated that Blizzard will be smiling more and more often at the mobile market - which is already very strong in the Chinese region, generating huge earnings. Diablo Immortal is just a start and we know that the company has at least two more projects for smartphones from the world of Warcraft. Blizzard emphasizes that the above-mentioned production is to interest new fans to get to know this universe in a completely unseen way.

Activision Blizzard report for 2021

Activision Blizzard is still doing well, the corporation is making money, although it has declines. Activision had 107 million active users, 12 million fewer than in the fourth quarter of 2020. Blizzard similarly has a lower result, 24 million players in 2021, which is 2 million less than in the previous year. Of course, the numbers are still very impressive and many publishers can only dream of such numbers.

We are left to wait for the next few weeks. It is probably February, despite the lack of BlizzCon, that will allow us to get to know broader plans for the near future.
